Caroline Bay

A scorcher - 31 deg and shared top of the country with Ashburton an hour up the road.

Plenty going on today - friends arrived on their bikes for a breather - morning tea and chatter was enjoyed.

This afternoon, since it was so hot we went down to the beach - so was every man and his dog.  And great to see so many enjoying the weather and our lovely beach.  Out to sea (and I nearly blipped them) were many little P class yachts racing.

Large ice-cream on the way home.
