Rallus aquaticus

Having heard of the tameness of this beautiful wee water rail from both Anth and MinBannister, we decided to go have a look. Well worth it, and very popular as well... many long lenses were pointed at him :)

I spent most of the rest of the day getting my digging gear together. I discovered that I must have left my plasterer's small tool on Lewis. Drat.
