Mystery Tree

Came across this tree today with the most unusual flowers. Thick and fleshy petals with a heavily textured exterior that looked like little plantlets growing all over, beautiful but very odd! The bud is up front and the open flower is behind.

Another warm day of about 35c but by the time I finished work a weak sea breeze had rolled in and so we headed off for a long walk to clear the head of work related things! :)
