Marjorie's ramblings

Black and white

This afternoon, Mum and I went to see Selma, the film about Martin Luther King.  Do go to see this powerful but measured film. David Oyelowo's performance is superb, but so is Tom Wilkinson as LBJ and the overall casting is excellent.

I am old enough to remember something of the civil rights struggle in the US, but, in the main, the news was not too interesting to a very young teenager.  I was more aware by the time King was murdered.

Brian and Maureen were at the performance so it was good to see them.

This little dog was tied up outside Bob's Barbers (or do you prefer Bobs Barbers (sic)?)  He was greeting everyone who came near with a wagging tail and was keen to interact.

Black and white in harmony seemed a good way to process the image for today.
