Another birthday...

The baby of the family turned 4 today, feels like only yesterday he arrived and yet it also feels like he's always been here. 

Mickey Mouse cake was the request and I tried my best.  It tasted lovely if I say so myself and the boy was pleased! 

More cake next month, when the eldest boy is 10 years older than the baby. 

Although it was a day of celebration, it was also a day for of sorrow on hearing the news that an old friend had passed away and leaves 2 beautiful children behind.  Made me think of my children and how grateful I am to be here with them, watching them grow.
