Scary biscuits!

Not something that one wants to come across when watching a big 360 JCB strip the overburden off a site. Happily, it turned out that the cable beneath was long dead. The whole length of the cable trench was capped with these beautifully made, roof-shaped bricks. You can't see, but there's a lug at one end and a socket at the other to fit them all together.
Nowadays, the warning sign is a layer of thin plastic. Would that have lasted so long?
Met Trev in the Beard and Cardigan in the evening, a good blether and a glass raised to ASG, who sensibly decided Poppy took precedence over blipmeets and watching Wales lose to Scotland ;)
