Hydrangea Hues

Late summer Hydrangeas are an absolute delight. Their colours are so diverse. When I set out to pick a bunch, I think the bushes are plain blue, pink or white, but then I start choosing blooms and I discover this huge range of magnificent colour combinations. I cut this bunch this morning and I love how they are beginning to have this beautiful antiquey look about them. If you pick them in the morning, they will usually last in a container for ages too.
