Knot what we had in mind.

When I had been blipping for less than a week, I got some nice photos of an Iceland Gull, in Scarborough, but I also got a picture of a Great Northern Diver. I reasoned that I was more likely to see an Iceland Gull in Sheffield than a Great Northern Diver, so the Diver was blipped. Four years on, an Iceland Gull in being reported at one of my regular haunts, on the river near the city centre. My quest was unsuccessful.
I only took one photo today. This Kingfisher was perching on a pontoon, which is being used to chop away overgrown vegetation on the riverbank. I suspect one of his regular perches had disappeared, but the Kingfishers along there seem more than happy to use man-made perches.
