Pure as snow...

This might be as close as I get to snow this year! Having said that I may yet get to see some of the real white stuff!!

Completely on the spur of the moment, I've booked a cottage in the Lake District for a week, leaving on Saturday, and the forecast for Sunday is snow! I know the weather won't be great, but the cottage has a log fire so I'll be happy curling up with a book in front of the fire if the weather turns bad. Hopefully though, I'll still be able to get out and about a bit, and enjoy one of my favourite parts of the country...
