The Edge of the Wold

Watching the sunset

A figure stopped on the promenade by Ashmeadow to watch the sun set behind Grange.  It was the last gasp of the sun that had otherwise been hidden above grey clouds all day.  The point of light behind the figure is light reflecting off the bench seat under the curtain of beech twigs.

There was time to get home, pick up Gus and get back to the prom, just in time to see the sun dip as I hurriedly dug out the camera.  Then our second estuary evening walk of the year, and Gus found another boulder to sit on and look appealing for a treat reward.  There will be a Gus blip soon.
