Lamb and his Mommy

We were exploring near Seaside, Oregon today and saw a pasture with several sheep and a couple of lambs. The lambs were tiny and so playful. They jumped at each other and ran together until one decided to find his mom for lunch!! The mom was so sweet and seemed to have a look of love and pride.....do you suppose they really think like that?? 

We drove down on the beach near Gearhart during low tide; there were many people searching for razor clams...and some fishing in the surf. One fisherman had his dog patiently waiting for him....it was tied to a clam gun secured in the sand....perhaps the owner was going to go for clams after fishing...he had about 1 1/2 hours after we left the beach before the tide changed and started to come back in. The sunset over the ocean was pretty but not spectacular. So this photo of the lamb and his mommy is my blip for today.
