Cat On A Wet Slate Roof

Our cats have been asking to get out onto the balcony ever since it was first constructed, but this has not been practicable.  Today was the first day that it was practicable, so they were let out.  The balcony was a new experience for them, but after a briefly exploration, they determined that it was possible to get down into the garden over the wet and slippery kitchen roof, before climbing down onto the arch of the gate and jumping onto the garden wall.
