Clearing later ...

The forecast suggested that the sleet showers that had plagued us today would eventually clear, and although we actually got pretty wet on this walk in Glen Kin, there were some beautiful moments. I particularly like this view, at all seasons of the year but perhaps especially with that new powdering of snow on the hills at the head of the glen.

Interestingly, we met a pair of walkers, two cars and a cross-country runner on this walk where we usually see no-one. The runner was the most interesting - he was 62 and had run round the glen in about 45 minutes. When we walk that route, it takes over two hours.

Impressive, huh? And he even had breath to chat ...
