Crocus

Today while preparing the lodge for the next guests this clump of Crocuses  (although I have grown up using the equally correct croci).
Thank goodness I keep a little neoprene sheet in my camera bag, otherwise this shot would have required some sitting on very wet grass.

In the evening we had a friend round for a meal and to plan some expeditions for the coming year and our next canal trip.  A good meal, s few drinks and a couple of DVDs rounded off the day nicely.
