Nicola Benedetti

I was invited to hear Nicola play this afternoon.  I wasn't sure about going after the struggle of the funeral yesterday, but am so glad I did.  It was just wonderful to hear her, with just a piano accompaniment.  Superb. 

The highlight for me was The Theme from Schindler's List - so moving.  I found a link here which shows the intensity of her playing.  At the end, silence, then rapturous applause, and a standing ovation.
