Having a whale of a time!

Another scorcher! Will someone please turn the thermostat down, I'm melting! We met a friend for lunch today, which was really nice but everywhere was so hot! Poor old Megan was baking in her black pram and car seat, so I've been trying to make her drink as much water as possible this afternoon!

She has developed the pincer grip now and is actually very effective at using it. However, there are a few things that the pincer grip doesn't work on, like water. This little whale can create quite a spurt and her dad was holding it under water and squirting it upwards while Megan was in the bath. Poor little thing was trying to use her new found motor skill to catch the water! The look on her face said 'why doesn't this work?' I'm sure it's only a matter of time before she gets her dad back.
