Negativitree

As days go, today was pretty full on, what with one thing and another.  It was good to finally be able to get home and relax.  The only problem being that I had not taken any pictures all day.  So here is my emergency blip!

This is a long exposure shot of a tree in our garden.  The tree was lit by torchlight and I have then effectively created a negative of the image.  The sky was originally a brilliant orange, courtesy of the local old fashioned sodium street lights.  I find the end result strangely pleasing - and its certainly different to anything else I have posted to date :-)
