CannyScot's Day

Communion

A bright day, interrupted by torrential rain.

At church this morning we saw lots of slides of our Pastor's visit to Ghana, which gave us a good insight into what he had been able to do. We also celebrated our monthly Communion. Most of you will know, but the bread represents Christ's body given for us and the wine represents His blood shed for us on the Cross. There are many ways this Service is celebrated and several ways which it is understood. What is important for Christians is that we have a regular reminder of Christ's death and resurrection.

Afterwards, we took our Granddaughter, Rachel, down to a halfway point between us and Edinburgh, where we met our Daughter, fellow Blipper Linda59. We enjoyed a lovely Lunch at Dobbie's of Kinross before setting off home again. We will miss our lovely Granddaughter but are pleased that she is so much better.
