The accidental finding

...at Sharpness marina. Sharpness is the Severn's docklands, but not as you know it. Great for blipping, but I wouldn't want to live there. A blipper could go there every Thursday for a year and still not run out of Derelict Thursday subjects.

The Marina is alive, however. I saw a lifeboat in dock, being repaired. On attempting to leave, we found that the car park barrier was closed, and had visions of being locked in there indefinitely. Fortunately a keyholder appeared just before we panicked.

We were there to watch a steam train on the other side of the river Severn. I am sure CleanSteve will write more about that.
After that adventure, we drove down to Bristol to the Royal West Academy to see three exihibitions, including Arboretum (in which my cousin is exhibiting) and the British Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2014. Amazing, inspiring work!

I'm better today, no longer sick, but have a distressing tendency to fall asleep anytime, any place, anywhere....
