After hoping to wake up to a foot of snow, I was a little disappointed. However, there was still some forecast and I found my fair share of wild weather when I ventured up on to the moors.
Meeting a man in his summer shorts walking his dog could have led me into a false sense of security as there was also blue sky and plenty of sunshine. Ten minutes later, I had three types of hat on, was blasted by an icy wind and was covered from head to foot in a wall of sticky snow. Luckily, he was on his way down and most likely got rained on. It wasn’t too long before the cloud started to break up again and we enjoyed plenty more sunshine and a chase round with Little Dog in some sheepless snow.
