Celebrating Women...

Backblip


Or more accurately, celebrating some of the amazing women in my life.

The past few days have been a bit of a social whirl.  Lunch with Agnes on Thursday.  Lunch with Ele, Gail & Natalie on Friday, dinner with LeeAnne and Dr T on Saturday and brunch with Dr T on Sunday and then today....a fabulous blip meet with Marie and her sister Anne, who were up North for a jewellery course.

I've known Marie on Blip for ages but we'd never met, given that she lives so far south, that any further and you're in the sea.  Not really possible for a casual blip meet.  :-)  

Anyway, before heading back down south again, she came for lunch with her sister Anne (who's done her back in poor girl!) and once again, I found myself in the company of another amazing blipper.

I think you could say that the three of us hit it off.  Much chatting, much laughter and just as well they were driving as I suspect if the wine corks had popped, things could have gotten very messy!  :-))  They really are two of the loveliest women, and they rounded of my long weekend of female company perfectly.  I felt quite bereft when they'd gone!

After dinner it was early to bed (a few days of socialising and I'm exhausted.  Must be getting old!) and I think I was asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.  But not before I registered the snow has returned.  Hmph!
