Pen-y-ghent winter

Today was inspired by Jue’s gorgeous photo a couple of days ago of Pen-y-ghent under a thick blanket of snow.  I questioned whether or not I could fit it in before tutoring and whether the forecast was worth it, but I’m glad I did.  

In Rich’s words, “A day in the mountains is always worth it.”

It really was, particularly given the snow looks like it's on its way out for a while.  The bottom was traditional heavy, wet British snow but the top, despite the mist, was gorgeous.
