A confused cactus!

I was given a Christmas cactus about 25 years ago and it's still healthy and going strong though is now much bigger. As befits it's name it always blooms at the right time of year and in December was covered in flowers. It's having a second Christmas at the moment and has produced four more flowers to brighten up the kitchen windowsill.
