Marjorie's ramblings

Mary Jo

Meet the first of our streptocarpus to flower this spring. This variety, Mary Jo, was new to our collection last year and flowered profusely. We hope she will do the same this year.

In this morning's photo class we saw everyone's "A Year in the Life of......." comprising a photo a month from each person.  There was some excellent work and it was lovely to see.  These were digitally projected images. We also had to take along 3 of our favourite prints from the year.

This afternoon Dick and Doc came to do the garden and eat biscuits. Then Annette came to do the cleaning and Jerome and Stu came to start the installation of the oil tank.  We are so lucky to have such wonderful people to help us.

This image was made from a focus stack of 6. I had a white background which looked a bit stark, so I colour picked the yellow from the flower, chose a lighter shade and filled the background.

PS Holiday back blips from Andalucia are all in place and I hope you have time to take a peek.
RAT tells me that the links I put in here did not work - she is correct - there is a gremlin in the system, so I've taken the links down. If you go back to 21st Feb you will find the first blip of Andalucia and you can thern progress forwards.
