Ice Day

I thankfully already had the day off by virtue of my attending's schedule and the cancellation of my orientation. My husband was not so lucky (but he has gotten wiser), so when he looked out side in the wee hours of the morning and saw the build up of ice and snow (mainly ice) he decided to stay home today. We had a blissfully lazy day catching up on some TV shows (I'm woefully behind) and eating a ton of junk food. My tummy was very angry with me. This photo was taken in the late afternoon after our second run to the grocery store (by then it had thawed significantly). The husband bought two pints of ice cream in this weather!
