Caen Hill Locks

When I was at Caen Hill on the 5th I remarked on a nesting swan on one of the lower side ponds. I called there again on Saturday to see if the eggs had hatched, but the swan was still sitting on the nest.

I was pleased to see, though, that the holiday season is well underway, and there were plenty of narrowboats on the canal, some about to spend all day navigating the Caen Hill Flight.
