Tricia having a whale of a time

Tee-hee.
Earlier in the week I heard about a Sperm Whale washed up on the beach on South Uist and today we braved the wind and rain to go and see it. We weren't the first as someone has removed the jaw with its ivory teeth but it was still an impressive - albeit dead - beast. It was just over fifty foot long and had attracted its own personal cloud of Iceland Gulls.
To celebrate a quick visit to the Island deli before a few zzzzs on the sofa. 
A proper weekend day.
