Rain passing through

As it had been ever since I woke up, and for some hours afterwards, the rain swept across the city from the west. At this time, the sun was bright enough and still low enough to give a beautiful rainbow ending on the edge of Grey Lynn Park.

After a couple of hours reading agenda papers, the rain had desisted and I went for a run. I could have chosen a really crisp photo of an immature tui (no white neck tuft). However, I decided (after consultation) that a change of tack was not a bad thing.
