Choo Choo Train

I was walking through Hyndland Station underpass today (also featured on 16th and  18th February) and, as the rain was coming down in stair-rods, I decided to keep my camera dry and feature another of the bright and cheerful trains that adorn the walls. This 150 feet long mural involved pupils and staff of Hyndland Secondary School working with Glasgow stained-glass artists Rab MacInnes and Linda Cannon and was commissioned to celebrate Glasgow’s Year as Cultural Capital of Europe in 1990 - 25 years ago. Good grief! Where have the years gone! Certainly this art work has stood the test of time.
