Pink Primroses

The pink primroses that I planted out in containers last week, but covered with a cold frame to protect from constant downpours, looked so vibrant today in the gentle spring sunshine. The light was glancing obliquely on the blooms leaving the background in darkness. The image needed no manipulation from me - just a question of selecting a plant and angle of view. It certainly paid dividends to keep them dry and out of the wind after transplanting.
