Olympic Champion

Howard House Finch is on his way to winning his eighth Gold Medal at the Small Bird Dish Olympics held every March on Laurie's backyard wall. All he has to do is finish this butterfly stroke in under thirteen seconds and he will have achieved what no other finch has ever achieved in the two year history of these magnificent Olympic games! 

He's swimming in the new Olympic pool, built this year especially for the younger birds, who have taken to it frequently as a training facility.  They have dabbled in it for recreational fun, as well as, bathing, too.  It has definitely become a popular gathering site for the millennials and it is paying off for Howard today!
