A Splash Of Colour

The day has been overcast and grey and this rainbow lorikeet provided a lovely splash of colour this morning as we went on our usual walk.

The cyclone to the north has crossed the coast finally after wreaking havoc on a number of communities. Tonight it has been downgraded to a tropical storm and we will feel the effects here in Perth tomorrow with strong winds and bucketloads of rain!
