Remembrance

Two things today: the service to mark the end of the war in Afghanistan. Difficult to know what word to use, not a celebration nor a commemoration. #1 son did 2 tours there and came back safe and sound. MP, who lived next door, came back alive but an injured. There were lots of soldiers outside the Kirk this morning, and in Starbucks in full regalia.

New member of staff today so a lot of talking and handing over info.

I worked late. So much to do and tonight Red Nose, booking loads of trains for next week's peregrinations and red, red wine.
