On the edge?

If rumours about Blip are true it seems that my off-hand quote of lyrics by The Easy Club, "Your hopes of a marriage and your blackest of fears, come to one and the same." may be more apposite than anyone feared.   Lets hope not.

Mothering Sunday. A day of mixed feelings for me, as it was that day in 2010 that it fell to me to find Mum had died peacefully at home the previous evening.  This year we're a bit far away to do the actual memorial trip to the east coast, but my thoughts have been there.

The actual day here has been fine. A rather early start for a guest breakfast at 7:15, but this afternoon E and I walked over the hills to a tea room that had been recommended; meeting up with Cupcake, returning from Oxford and walking from Colwall. 

The tea room itself is trying a 'new image' - generally getting ideas above itself.  Aspirations of Nouvelle Cuisine (lightly garnished, empty-plate stuff) isn't quite what we were expecting or hoping for.
