I dunno, you step out for a few days, you come back only to find that the place seems to be on the brink. 

We've been in denial (de Nile, gedditt!)  for too long. Time to bring out the dirty washing.

If it is indeed a liquidation, then perhaps the insolvency practitioners would be prepared to discuss with members how it might be maintained. The key to continuity is a stable server and a means to service the site.

If the site shuts down then it's lost since most people who post here are motivated by sustaining a continuous record.  How about showing us the books so we can see whether any rescue is possible? 

I think I'll leave the back-blipping until I see what's going on. Egypt was cracking.
