Sgwarnog: In the Field

St. Bees

Having swapped the east coast for the west for our spring break this year, a hot Sunday found us at a buzzing St. Bees beach.  The south side of St. Bees Head looms above the beach with the true headland, the western most point of northern England, being a little further to the north.  The Isle of Man was visible through the haze out to the west.

Blip beach outtakes show a Yellow Headland, and Groyne Iron.

When we returned to the cabin we found another swallow nest had been built in our absence, this time directly above the front door.
