View from a tank

Another lazy awakening with a nice leisurely breakfast.

Decided to head to the Bovington tank museum on the basis that it might be easier going for husband given his current limited mobility. The displays were very well laid out and the story of how tanks replaced horses in warfare was very interesting.

When we were at the furthest point from the entrance, the fire alarm sounded and we were all evacuated to the assembly point in the car park. It was slow and painful going and, of course, by the time we'd made it to the assembly point the alarm was cancelled. A lovely lady came out with a wheelchair so we were able to get back in a bit quicker than we left.

Called in at Swanage on the way back and got to see the steam locomotive pull into the station.
