Panda - eyes

Back to the usual routine of Friday shopping.
Our Cornish holiday seems a lot longer than a week ago!

There are some more new arrivals at the farm.
This little lamb with the panda-eyes is a breed called Kerry Hill.
The name comes from the Kerry hills around the village of Kerry in Powys , Wales, where they first officially appeared in 1809.

The one I blipped the other day is a breed called Southdowns. see here
Several more little ones have been born during the last week.
I tried to get a photo of them all frolicking about, but as they were in the next field the fences got in the way. May be another day.

I'm afraid it was too cloudy to see the eclipse, but there are some wonderful photos on Blip.

Have a good weekend. How quickly they seem to come round!
