At Home With Mother Comfort's Windmill

The flowers of Spring have Mother Comfort's Windmill peaking out and looking all cozy in it's new location. It's a special little corner for me. The Weigelia (on the left) was a tiny little plant when I ordered it almost 15 years ago, and the Rhododendrun, a grocery store find, the most richly colored in the bunch. The windmill was something that Mr. Contraptioneer loved and gave to his parents long ago.

So in a way, it has come home. I'm finding, with the changing seasons, that he planted it in a perfect spot to enjoy the variations in the foreground against it's lively little gyrations. It's sort of like coming home myself after a long wander.
