A Bad Example

Even the workman saw the irony of his actions this morning as he stuck up a warning notice on the new hoarding surrounding part of the David Hume Tower in George Square.

The prohibition in any case seems completely unenforceable and even if no one puts up a poster, some passing graffiti artist will not be able to resist such a lovely blank stretch of hoarding to demonstrate his artistic abilities.

With the sunshine putting a sparkle into the world today, wouldn't it be wonderful if the Scottish rugby team could drag victory from the jaws of defeat at Murrayfield this afternoon and beat the all conquering Irish.
I am not a believer in miracles.
