Portsoy

Monday on our Moray coast get away and it was the day to visit Portsoy and its 17th century harbour.

Balmy it wasn't at 7 degrees, but there was no howling gale and the rain stayed behind dark clouds to the west. Nevertheless the walk was short and sweet with one of us finding it too cold to linger. The other one spied a cosy Norwegian jersey in the Marble shop and despite being warned that it accentuated too many feminine curves, it was bought on the premise, if you've got them, flaunt them

The morning's rhubarb and ginger scones are sitting heavily on our stomachs, responsible no doubt for some of the curves. A walk is required this afternoon, chilly or not.
Having said that, the sun has come out and we may well be walking in 9 degrees of heat. Bring it on!
