a sorrowful day for bertie

we went over to granny and grandpa's house today to have lunch, it was so, so lovely to see them, my uncle and my cousin.

we played badminton and volleyball, but then we caught bertie rolling in the dried grass - this didn't end well as five minutes later he began squealing and howling, telling us that he was in such a lot of pain :(

we thought a bee had crawled in and stung him on the ear, so we bathed it in vinegar with no result of his condition improving

poor bertie is still is a lot of pain, but still seems to manage to put a brave face on for the camera with my brother, aren't they sweet!?

perhaps when he feels better i'll blip a full body picture of bertie, he's so, so beautiful!
