First swim

Have to admit I haven't done much dog walking for the last month or so but today Flash made a direct bee line to the river and was standing in it before I got there. Normally he would always wait for a stick to be thrown. 

Luna did the full job, swimming and plunging in and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Talking of bees, they are extraordinarily busy so have given them a small amount of sugar fondant to make sure they have enough food. Pollen doesn't seem to be in short supply, although we have no flowers to talk of. Next door neighbour (700m) has lots of crocuses. I guess though the bees find lots of hazel etc pollen which is as good as invisible to the normal "eye" but sadly such an irritation for the allergy sufferers. Just a hint buy honey from a local beekeeper which has been normally filtered as this will contain pollen from the trees in your area. Said that eating this local honey helps with allergies. No point in buying Chinese/Mexican honey as they have quite different trees.
