Blooming lovely

After the busy weekend it was good to have a morning catching up on all my chores - groceries, post office, tailor (alterations), and time for a quick cup of coffee with a friend. Spring is here, the blossoms are out and everything is looking lovely. The boys break up for the Easter holidays on Wednesday and I like to get organised before they are at home all day.

Luke is busy looking for a 'student' job. He has an interview at Sainsburys later this week to be an 'online shopper' - that is the person that picks your groceries for your online orders. Don't worry, I have already told him the importance of choosing bread from the back of the shelf....He has also been asked by a friend of Gavin's to help out preparing boats for the season - maintenance, painting, general repairs. He may even help with the delivery of new boats if the dates work out - a trip to help crew on a delivery to Orkney was mentioned but he unfortunately he has some other commitments at the same time.
