Meds for the dogs

A week ago yesterday, both dogs were poisoned while they were in the backyard. Whether it was accidental or deliberately, we have no idea. 

The dogs were in the hospital for four days getting medical support…there were moments when we were losing hope for their lives to be spared, but thankfully, they responded to treatment very quickly. 

Belle has fully recovered, but Holly did suffer a vestibular attack 24 hours after the poisoning incident. Since then, she's been sporting an involuntary eye roll in her right eye, a shaky right hind leg and a tilted head. It's distressing seeing her like this, but it's more of an annoyance than pain, thank goodness. 

The dogs detest being pilled so it's always challenging and tense at meds time. That's lots of meds they have to take for their recovery from the trauma, so Newby made a chart for me to help me keep track of the dogs' meds.
