Double delight!

Mrs. Red-bellied Woodpecker swooped down from a nearby tree and was obviously delighted to find these tasty seeds on the post. Because I only had a few minutes to spend in the park, I was delighted when she appeared. Timing is everything! (Along with light that is.)

I didn't post a blip yesterday. After spending the morning at the car dealership (a new Chevy Cruze), I gave my good friend a ride to the doctor's office. At that point, I decided a walk in the park was just not on tap for the day. At any rate, it was both cold (20 something) and cloudy, so I treated my sore back to an hour on a warm heating pad. Delightful!
