Drifting Slowly

9.3C with a bright clear morning. Cloud building from noon to give an afternoon of long sunny spells. Zephyr.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk before lunch as showers were forecast for the afternoon. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. The clouds were very different from yesterday, drifting slowly across the fields of soft fruit polytunnels from the West with the sky still completely clear out to sea. At Scryne we turned right and went down the road to Easthaven and came back along the cycle path and round in a long loop, heading into Carnoustie then up the main road before turning along for home.

The BBC web forecast this morning showed showers starting around 3pm. No such showers appeared.
I checked the forecast mid afternoon and It has been changed to show the showers appearing at 5pm.
Useless.
