Crazy weather

We both spent most of the day clearing stuff in our own rooms. Many more bags and boxes filled and to be got rid of. 

Then we had to get out and decided to find a gap in the showers and walk up over Orton at Sunbiggin Tarn. We were out for about an hour and in that time had – sunshine and blue skies, rain, hail, sleet, snow, fortunately most of the wet stuff whilst we were in the car. This picture shows the sun picking out the wall, but dark skies looming and casting a strange light.
 
As we got back, we found our roads had quite a covering of what looked like snow, but was actually hailstones.
    
Crazy!!
