A week before daylight saving finishes

My husband started off on his walk today then came back to tell me there was fog around, good for a blip, so I hurriedly got dressed and went walking. It had mostly burnt off by the time I got round to the high school  but the sun just breaking through the trees and streaking across the grounds was a joy to see. It has been a beautiful day.
The line is marking the rugby field. We have cricket and rugby both going at once. Seems mad to me.
We also have mushrooms appearing on lawns and parks and the high school grounds too. We just need to get up earlier to get them before others.
