Just a day of driving, trying to get up closer to the border...D's cell phone is still being cranky and useless. The sun is still shining although we had a spat of rain overnight. We've stopped in Walla Walla, Washington today. It's the home of the sweet onion. This is a very productive agricultural area and has been for over a 100 years. I think we'll stay until Monday, then push on.
